The processor is the most important part of your PC. For advanced graphics processing you need a top of the line CPU. Tasks such as Video Editing, Graphic Design, and AutoCAD programs all require lots of CPU grunt. Both of our offerings are high-end, overclocked CPUs. Clock speed is important but the number of cores and threads is also crucial. That is why for our Advanced Graphics PCs we only offer the best.
Our options are the Intel i7 12700K [12 Cores/ 20 Threads; 5.0 GHz Max Clock Speed], Intel i9 12900K [16 Cores/ 24 Threads; 5.2 GHz Max Clock Speed], Intel i7 14700K [20 Cores/ 28 Threads; 5.6 GHz Max Clock Speed], Intel i9 14900K [24 Cores/ 32 Threads; 6.0 GHz Max Clock Speed].

32GB of memory will easily handle home & office functions, and it is recommended for graphic design programs like AutoCAD to have at least 32GB. So we have made this the base spec for our Advanced Graphics PCs. However, the rule is simple: the more the better. Opting for extra RAM is an inexpensive change that will make a big difference. We find Corsair to be one of the best brands for RAM.

As the name would imply this step is the most important for your Mini Advanced Graphics PC and the equation is simple: if you want to get the best performing graphics machine you can, get the best graphics card you can afford. Are you a 3D artist, architect, or product designer? Then the Nvidia Quadro graphics cards are what you should focus on. These highly efficient, low-profile cards were designed for graphics design professionals like you.

Looking for a more generalised graphics all-rounder instead that will handle games and a little Adobe PhotoShop on the side? Then perhaps the regular RTX range of cards is a better option for you. The graphics card (GPU) does most of the heavy lifting for you when running graphics-intensive programs like Video-Editing, PhotoEditing, Computer-Aided Design software, etc. We all have limited time and money, so if your budget allows you to spend more on one PC component than on others - make it the graphics card. Micro-analysing other component specs is usually not worth the investment when you can just - you guessed it - get a better graphics card.

Choosing an appropriate power supply for your Mini Advanced Graphics PC is made easy at this step. Our base default Silverstone SFX 650w power supply will run most of the PC combinations made with this PC builder. However, it is a good idea to give yourself some headroom with the power supply, depending on the complexity of the PC you are making. Just work off a sliding scale from an entry-level PC all the way to a 'best-of-everything' PC. The more involved your PC is, the more power it will consume and therefore the greater the power supply wattage we recommend in order to run it comfortably. For example if you are choosing the RTX 4070 Ti graphics card, you will need to pair it with the 750w power supply.

All our power supply options meet the 80 Plus standard. For you technically-minded people out there - the 80 PLUS® performance specification requires power supplies to be 80% or greater energy efficient at 10, 20, 50 and 100% of rated load with a true power factor of 0.9 or greater. In layman's terms - they're officially certified as far more efficient than typical power supplies.
